Woodland Park Wedding

Over the summer I shot a wedding video for my friends Drew and Tonya. I shot Tonya and her bridesmaids getting ready at a gorgeous home in Woodland Park, CO and then went down to Green Mtn. Falls, CO for the ceremony shoot. I decided to put together a little teaser so they could see some of the footage. I think it came out pretty rockin!

Justice Speaks video. Benefit to stop human trafficking

My friends Rebecca and Clint Dunning have been hosting local events to raise money for anti human trafficking. Over the summer they held an event in Manitou, CO. They got a bunch of local artists to come and sell works of art, cd's and clothing and had everyone donate 10% to anti human trafficking. I got invited to sell my t-shirts (areteclothing.com) as well as document the artists involved with this benefit. I think this video came out great and I hope it helps Rebecca and Clint get more people involved with future benefits. There is one taking place at Pikes Perk on N Academy Blvd this saturday October 2nd from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Pikes Peak Paintless Dent Removal-Logo

I got a chance to revamp a logo for a friends business. He does paint less dent removal in Colorado Springs.

I actually did his original logo about 6 years ago. He wanted something simple back then but this time around he was looking for something a little more appealing to the eye. His ideas were to revamp the mountain and make it a little more abstract and also to try and work a car into it as well. After a few ideas sent back and forth we nailed it down. I think this came out pretty sweet and I'm stoked to see his new cards and shirts when they get done. I've been focusing a lot on video lately and it felt good to dive into some design work again. I miss doing this kind of work and hope to do more in the future.

Fitness Consulting Video Shoot

Judi Ulrey of FitnessConsulting.com recently moved to Colorado Springs from California and needed a couple videos produced for her website. We ended up doing 2 videos on a client that has had amazing weight loss results just by changing her diet. The videos are almost ready to put on her website but here are some screen shots for now. I will post the finished video later this month.

UpaDowna/Arete Clothing Collab shirt

I started a outdoor oriented t-shirt company called Arete Clothing 2 years ago and recently got involved with a group called UpaDowna (up a mountain, down a beer). I told them I was thinking about doing a shirt involving the Manitou Incline and they were all about it. We decided to collaborate on the shirt to promote both companies and make the locals take notice. The shirt came out amazing and I couldn't be happier with it. We are getting 60 of these printed as we speak and after offering a pre order on facebook we are almost sold out. More will be printed but if you would like to buy this amazing shirt before they are gone you can get on Arete Clothing's facebook page and follow up to reserve your order. Here is the link

Look for more out of Arete and UpaDowna in the near future

Bright Eyes Cleaning Logo

A logo I did for Colorado Springs based Bright Eyes Cleaning. She wanted something cute but with a modern edge to it. After multiple ideas and drawings I came up with an eye with the sun wrapped around it. Added a slight gradient to make it pop a little more and some modern text to give it a sleek feel. I'm really happy with the way this turned out and will be working on some photos and a website in the near future.

Ivanhoe Broadcast News Shoot

I recently got the chance to shoot a medical story for Ivanhoe Broadcast News based out of Florida. I got to work with producer Jann Tracey from Denver and had a really good time. Jann had everything planned out so I met her at Pikes Peak Cardiology in Colorado Springs for the first shoot. We shot a patient and doctor doing a heart test on a treadmill, then did a doctor interview discussing a new technology with heart defibrillators. Then it was off to Peyton, CO to shoot a patient that had this new defibrillator put in recently. Here are a few images from the shoot. This will be edited for broadcast news and played in a few months all over the country.

Raw Nation/ Hot Rawks logos

I was real excited when these guys called me all the way from North Carolina. They were starting up a raw/organic supplement company and needed a logo for the company as well as their first product. They were totally into what I had done in the past and were just a blast to work with. They wanted something edgy with a little sex appeal but not raunchy or over the top. Needless to say I was all over this since I rarely get a chance to do graphic work like this. The company logo came together nicely and I am very pleased with the final result. The product logo took a ton of revision but eventually they came up with the idea of a man and woman symbol connected by a flame, which I think fits the purpose of the product perfectly!

All in all it was a fun project and I learned a great deal from it.

The company is called Raw-Nation and the product is an all natural libido/energy enhancer entitled Hot Rawks

Check out their website here (http://hotrawks.com/) and pick up a bottle of Hot Rawks. It's truly an amazing product!

Garden of the Gods HD shoot

I decided to take an afternoon to film this beautiful park with my new Canon XH-A1s. It was an overcast day but I decided to shoot anyway to learn some of the manual features the camera provides. As I got closer to the park it started to snow a little off and on and after about 30 min of shooting it started to POUR! I got a few shots in before I retreated to the car. After driving down the road to get out of the park I spotted 2 deer right next to the road. I whipped out the camera and filmed them both for about 5 minutes! Overall it was a good time to get outside and use the new cam. I used the aperture priority mode most of the time in order to let enough light in on such a cloudy day. Until I upgrade to vimeo plus, you will have to watch it on their site for HD playback

Enjoy!
